Zack: Welcome to our webinar today, “How to Boost Your Facebook Advertising with Call Analytics”. With me is Madelyn Newman, our product marketing manager. And, again, my name is Zack Bedingfield, I run our search engine marketing here at CallRail. Welcome. We thank you all for joining us today. You can see our Twitter and emails here. We'll answer questions throughout…we'll answer questions at the end. But if you have any further questions afterward, feel free to reach out to us via Twitter or email. Just a bit of housekeeping before we start. The phone lines are down, so we can't hear you all. And then if you have any questions throughout the broadcast, feel free to submit them via the chat box. If they are simple, we will try to answer them as soon as possible.
And if they're a bit more in-depth, we'll probably answer them at the employee email database end. And then that's recorded I'm really happy to be here today. So some things we are going to cover in today's webinar. We're going to talk about the rise of mobile and the impact it's had on Facebook and Facebook Advertising. We're going to talk about how you can improve your Facebook ads, so you generate more of those valuable phone leads. We're going to talk about how you can use call tracking specifically in your Facebook ads strategy, and then how we can combine all of these things together to effectively increase your Facebook advertising ROI. . . Increase in the use of mobile and Facebook First, I want to start talking about the rise of mobile and its impact on Facebook.
So, as I'm sure many of you know, if you're here marketing on Facebook, you see the value of advertising there. It is definitely the most popular social media platform in the world. All those numbers you're looking at are from their third quarter earnings report. They haven't released all of 2017 yet, it should be out in a week or so, so we'll have to stay tuned to see how much that's changed in the last three months. But as of September 30, there were more than 2 billion monthly active users on Facebook. It's a ton of people, it's a huge audience. It is definitely worth spending ad revenue on it. But what's even more interesting, I think, than just looking at, you know, the 2 billion number, although that's pretty exciting, 1.74 billion out of 2 billion are active on mobile. So basically, you know, almost everyone on Facebook accesses the platform on mobile, and 1.055 billion actually only access Facebook on mobile.
